EuroCross ("we", "our", or "us") operates the EuroCross browser extension and the https://eurocross.pro website. This Privacy Policy explains how EuroCross handles information when you use our browser extension and related services.

EuroCross is designed with data minimization principles: the extension operates primarily as a client-side productivity assistant, processing product details and drafts directly within your browser session.

1. The Core Purpose of EuroCross

EuroCross assists European online resellers with cross-listing products across supported platforms (Vinted, Wallapop, and eBay Europe). It extracts public listing details from an existing item page and populates draft creation forms on target platforms to save sellers manual time.

2. Information Handled by the Extension

A. Listing Content (Processed Locally in Your Browser)

When you initiate a cross-listing transfer, EuroCross reads publicly displayed listing details from the source item page:

• Product Details: Item title, description, category, price, condition, brand, color, size, and dimensions.
• Product Images: Image URLs and photo thumbnails displayed on the source listing.

How This Data Is Handled:

• This listing content is processed locally in your browser and temporarily stored in your browser's local storage (chrome.storage.local).
• It is used to fill the draft creation form on the target marketplace tab.
• Once the draft form is filled or dismissed, the temporary payload is cleared from local storage.
• Your product photos, titles, and descriptions are not transmitted to EuroCross servers for license or quota checks.

B. License & Quota Metadata (Transmitted to api.eurocross.pro)

To manage monthly transfer quotas (10 free transfers/month on Free tier, unlimited transfers on Founders Pro) and validate active license keys, EuroCross contacts our backend API (https://api.eurocross.pro):

• Anonymous Installation Identifier: A randomly generated client-side UUID created upon installation to track monthly transfer counts without identifying you personally.
• Extension Version: The installed version string (e.g., 2.0.0).
• License Key (if entered): The alphanumeric key entered to activate Founders Pro.
• Quota Usage Counter: The count of transfers initiated during the current monthly period.

C. Payment Information (Handled Externally by Stripe)

Subscription purchases and license key issuance are processed externally through Stripe Checkout. EuroCross does not collect, process, or store credit card numbers, billing addresses, or banking information. All payment processing is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.

3. What We Do Not Collect

EuroCross maintains strict technical boundaries:

• No Account Passwords or Credentials: EuroCross does not read, request, or store your marketplace passwords, login credentials, or session cookies.
• No General Browsing History: EuroCross content scripts only run on declared marketplace URLs (vinted.*, wallapop.com, ebay.*) when you use the extension.
• No Personal Messages or Buyer Information: EuroCross does not access marketplace chat inboxes, customer data, or private order communications.
• No Automated Publishing: EuroCross does not automatically publish or submit listings. The final listing submission remains a manual action by the seller.

4. Chrome Web Store User Data Policy Compliance

EuroCross complies with Google Chrome Web Store Developer Program Policies, including Limited Use and Single-Purpose requirements:

1. Single Purpose: EuroCross exists solely to assist sellers in transferring product listing data between supported European marketplaces.
2. No Data Brokerage: We do not sell, rent, or monetize user data to third parties, data brokers, or advertising networks.
3. No Unrelated Data Transfers: We do not transfer user data to third parties except as strictly necessary for license and quota validation.
4. No Credit Scoring or Advertising: Data processed by EuroCross is never used for personalized advertising or creditworthiness assessment.

5. Local Storage and Data Retention

• Preferences: User settings (such as price markup percentages, language preference, and theme) are saved locally on your device in chrome.storage.local.
• Pending Payloads: Temporary cross-listing payloads expire automatically or are cleared upon draft completion.
• Uninstallation: Uninstalling the extension removes extension-managed local data according to the browser’s extension storage behavior.

6. Third-Party Marketplace Independence

EuroCross is an independent productivity tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Vinted, Wallapop, eBay, or their parent companies.

7. User Rights & Data Requests

Under the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable data protection laws:

• Because EuroCross does not collect personal identity information or store listing content on external servers, we do not maintain identifiable user profiles.
• If you have an active Founders Pro license and wish to inquire about or delete your associated license record, contact us at support@eurocross.pro.

8. Security

Communication with the license API (https://api.eurocross.pro) is encrypted via Transport Layer Security (HTTPS/TLS). Local browser storage is sandboxed by the browser's extension security model.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as needed. The current version will always be available at https://eurocross.pro/privacy with an updated effective date.
